2011: Arno began working full time on this exhibition late 2010; a 12 month journey that saw him return to his love: fine art. (Arno studied Graphic Art in 1992 and has been painting part time ever since). The core identity of Arno’s work is based on his unique take on Surrealism. He works with oils on canvas and various works feature collaborations with renowned South African artists including Beezy Bailey and Jack Mantis. During 2011, Arno also released a 6 track EP ‘Apes with Shades’ with Springbok Nude Girls. The album spawned 2 #1 hit singles: Weekend and Apes with Shades.
2010: Wonderful Wild, Arno’s 3 rd solo album, released internationally in 2010 was written, recorded and mixed in London & Spain with co-songwriting contributions from Giles Martin, James Walsh, Jim Duguid and Youth. Final mix on the album is by Tim Bran (The Verve’s recent UK#1 album).
