Cutt Glas
South Africa's best-loved female a capella group, Cutt Glas, released their sixth CD, Versnit - Blended, celebrating the group's fifteenth year in the industry.
The title of the album refers to the group's very own blending of different songs into new master pieces. Titles on the album include evergreens such as I can see clearly now (Nash) , Somer (Johannes Kerkorrel) as well as music from recent years. There is a touching classical rendition of Habanera (Carmen, Bizet), as well as Billy Joel's River of dreams and Anton Goosen's Klein bietjie wyn.
