STEVE LOUW & BIG SKY LIVE AT DIE BOER
Legendary South African rock ‘n’ roll stalwarts Big Sky will do one of their rare live performances at die Boer in Durbanville.
The band, led by singer/songwriter Steve Louw, was so blown away by the audience reaction during their previous visit, that it was decided to do another show at this venue. Fans can expect a selection of the many hits songs from the band’s 20-year career including tracks from the album, Trancas Canyon, recorded last year.
There are not too many bands of this quality to be found on South African stages, so don’t miss this chance.

Award winning singer-songwriter Steve Louw is back with the launch of a brand new album: 'Trancas Canyon'. Recorded in California in 2007 and produced by long-time collaborator Kevin 'the Caveman' Shirley, it's an elegant addition to the band's back-catalogue of classic rock songs. During the show they'll be playing hits like 'Waiting for the dawn', 'One cut with a knife' and 'Mr. Green' in addition to selections from the new album. Some of the best musos in the country will be joining Steve on stage; Willem Moller on guitar, Simon Orange on keys, Schalk Joubert on bass and Tim Rankin on drums.
BIG SKY has decided to make use of Die Boer's excellent sound rig and accoustics and the the show will be recorded live for future release as a DVD. Don’t miss this chance to rediscover some of the best songs in South African rock in the country’s best “sit down” venue
